NISSO - Pesticide

Since entering the agrochemical field in the 1950s, the Company has distributed a variety of safe and effective agricultural chemicals. NABU, a crop herbicide, is registered now in about 70 countries. TOPSIN-M, a fruit and vegetable fungicide, has been a steady seller since its launch in 1971. In the insecticide and acaricide fields, the Company has concentrated on the latter. In 1995, we introduced MOSPILAN, an insecticide that is highly effective even against resistant strains of destructive pests. During this fiscal year, the Company introduced the fungicide PANCHO-TF to the market. The Company is targeting the global market with new strategic drugs to be distributed through a sales network expanded by business ties and mergers with overseas companies.

-Insecticides:

MIMIC:(tebufenozide 20% SC)

Mimic is one of Insect Growth Regulators and controls Lepidopteran pests, safe for non-target organisms, including mammals,aquatic organisms, and beneficialinsects.

Binds with the ecdysone receptor and mimics the insects molting hormone ecdysone
-Feeding is stopped within 24 hours
-A premature ,lethal molt is initiated
Distruption of the normal molt cycle prevents larvae from shedding old cuticle.


	MOSPILAN :(Acetamiprid, 20% SP) Mospilan is a new type of insecticide discovered by Nippon Soda Co., Ltd. It has a new and unique chemistry with a novel mode of action and has high systemic and translaminar action.
-Acaricides:
	NISSORUN:(Hexythiazox 10% WP) Nissorun is a new acaricide which has been shown to control phytophagous mites extremely well. It was discovered and is now being developed by Nippon Soda Co., Ltd. in Tokyo, Japan. Nissorun is ovicidal,larvicidal and nymphicidal with long-lasting effect against many kinds of mites. Nissorun shows low toxicity to mammals and aquatic organisms and has no adverse effects on beneficial insects and natural enemies. Nissorun should therefore be of particular value in integrated pest management systems.
-Fungicides:
	TOPSIN-M:(Thiophanate methyl 70% WP) TOPSIN-M shows to have a unique combination of preventive, curative, and systemic fungicidal properties. Controls various diseases simultaneously with its broad spectrum activity. Gives long lasting effectiveness and can make control stable.

	BEFRAN : (Iminoctadine Triacetate 25% SL) BEFRAN: shows to have a unique combination of preventive, curative. Inhibition of lipid biosynthesis, Destruction of cell membrane mechanism. Controls various diseases simultaneously with its broad spectrum activity. Gives long lasting effectiveness and can make control stable.

	PANCHO:(NF-154) WG (Cyflufenamid 3.4% + Triflumizole 15.0%) Pancho is highly active against powdery mildew of various crops. Pancho contains two active ingredients that are cyflufenamid and Triflumizole. Both ingredients have different mode of actions and are very effective against powdery mildew. Pancho has excellent residual and good preventive and curative activity against Powdery mildew. It has good translaminar movement and translocation within the treated plant. Pancho WG also has excellent vapor activity.

	VALSA WAX:(Thiophanate-methyl 3.0%) Valsa Wax is a painting fungicide which contains Thiophanate-methyl with powerful effect and systemic action. After Valsa Wax is applied to the diseased parts, a water-proof protectant film is formed very soon.The film prevents from infection and rain.
- Herbicides:
	NABU-S:(Sethoxydim12.5 % Oil EC) Nabu-S is a new selective post-emergence herbicide in broad-leaved crops fields. Nabu-S controls almost all of annual and perennial grass weeds by foliage application.
